April Favourites // 2016

I've been a little quite over the last few weeks, but I'm back in the creative swing of things with a favourites posts. I've been loving a few new products this month that I think need credit given where its due!
Ocean Salt // I've been a fan of this scrub for years, but when I ran out earlier this month and had to go without for a few weeks, I realised just how much I loved the stuff. Ocean Salt is beauty benefits of the beach in a recycled black tub. Of course you get the exfoliating and beauty benefits from the sea salt, but also the softening efforts from the avocado, the brightening properties from the lime and the pore tightening qualities from the vodka. It sounds harsh (but trust me) if your skin is acting up or is out of sync, then this product is life saver.

Sea Spray // Better than any chemical filled bottle any day. Sea Spray is the ocean in a bottle. It smells fresh and it gives my hair that perfect surf texture without drying it out. I'm on my second bottle of this product and I wouldn't be without it. I literally got every drop out of my first bottle before having to repurchase. I use this as soon as I get out of the shower to enhance my beachy waves and in between washes on dry hair to pro-long my style.

Don't Look at Me // Possibly the prettiest fresh face mask I've ever used. Don't Look at Me is the brightest, most perfect shade of my favourite colour. I leave this in the fridge and use it when my skin needs a little pick me up or is off balance. I am a huge fan of lemon, especially for its beauty benefits and that was the key ingredient (aside from the colour) that drew me to this product. This leaves my skin feeling so smooth, looking vibrant and happy.

So Eco Brushes // Super soft, cruelty free, ethical and environmentally friendly. Did I mention that they also apply your makeup wonderfully? I discovered these brushes towards the end of April, and I haven't stopped using them. I love how soft they feel against my skin and how seamlessly the blend. The brushes are made from ethical, sustainable and recycled sources, and they are very reasonably priced too!

Hurraw! Moon Balm // My lips have been super dry lately, so this has been a life saver for me. Moon Balm is a thick and creamy over night treatment lip balm packed full of moisturising oils such as avocado oil, rose hip oil and argan oil. Hurraw! products are GMO free, cruelty free, vegan and as the name suggests, made with raw ingredients so this product is completely guilt free.

Lani Tropical Face Serum // I haven't come across a Lani product that I haven't liked, and their facial serum is no exception. It smells like flowers, not the fake, sickly floral kind, but exactly like you're walking through a field of wild flowers. I like to use this as my evening moisturiser, or if my skin is feeling a little dry. Its a light weight oil so it absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling moisturised and nourished. A nice thing about this oil is that a little goes a long way, so it will last you a while!

Balm Balm Coconut Cleanser // This cleanser is perfect for when I want to keep my skincare simple. The super light coconut cleanser is made from coconut oil, which is not only hydrating for your skin, but a perfect way to remove any makeup, dirt or excess oils that have built it throughout the day. I don't use this as a makeup remover, but more often when my skin feels like it needs a gentle cleanse. It smells heavenly and leaves my skin feeling ultra soft and happy.
